Traffic will be stopped in both directions for several intervals between 9:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. so crews can lift heavy equipment.

To the editor:Thank you for your continuing coverage of the Mt. Hope Bridge and RITBA. Kudos to town leaders and to the members of the Mt. Hope Bridge Watch, who forced the belated release of the 2024 inspection report.The RITBA letter to the editor (July 30th) generated more questions than answers.
