Participants in the 35th Mostra do Mel agreed to point out that it has been a bad year, conditioned by climate change and fires.

The Natural Heritage Service of the Xunta de Galicia has temporarily prohibited all forms of fishing in the sections of the river Soldón, in the town of Lucense de Quiroga, until September 30th. They have made this decision due to the "end impoverishment" of the waters by the massive drags of ashes and land accumulated in the basin as a result of the fires of the summer of 2025.
