Sword attacker wounds several at a school in Sweden

On Friday, a person armed with a sword attacked several people at Brinellskolan in Fagersta, Sweden, injuring multiple individuals at the school premises.
The school is located 200km northwest of Stockholm, and authorities continue securing the premises with various resources following the attack.
Police responded to the scene and took one suspect into custody. Pelle Vamstad, police press officer, said, "We have an ongoing operation in the area."
Several schools in the area were evacuated following the attack, while ambulances, police, and police helicopters remain on scene managing the emergency.
Sweden's Justice Minister Gunnar Strömmer told SVT that the government is in close contact with police and continuously monitoring developments in the serious incident.
