The Bangalore RTO today seized more than 200 out-of-state registered vehicles that were evading tax and collected a fine of Rs 3 crore. This massive operation has been carried out against those who were driving luxury vehicles without paying road tax in Karnataka. The state transport department is losing hundreds of crores in revenue and the operation will continue till the end of this month.
