QUEEN's ROGER TAYLOR Shares 'I See You Now' Single From Upcoming Solo Album 'Violence Insane In A Beautiful World'
The Queen drummer says the track is a love song and a tribute to his wife as he rolls out his seventh solo album.
- On Thursday, August 13, 2026, legendary Queen drummer Roger Taylor released his new single "I See You Now," ahead of his seventh solo album "Violence Insane In A Beautiful World," due September 18 via Columbia Records.
- His seventh solo album explores the tension between global beauty and insanity; Taylor explained, "The violence in the world seems to be as bad as it ever was, at any point, and certainly in my lifetime."
- The single features a black-and-white music video created by Taylor's wife Sarina Taylor and collaborator Simon Lupton. The album also features The Ndlovu Youth Choir on three tracks, whose contributions Taylor said "gives them a whole new dimension."
- Supporting the album, Taylor launches a U.K. tour on September 21 at Newcastle's O2 City Hall, with stops in Birmingham, Manchester, Swansea, and London. Fans who pre-order receive exclusive ticket access.
- Regarding Queen's future, Taylor told Rolling Stone last year that the band wants to continue. "I don't think we're done," Taylor said, dismissing the prospect of a final farewell tour.
