Olivia Dean show moves to Western Springs amidst high ticket demand
Afterpay Arena said every patron needs a valid ticket, even infants, as Olivia Dean fans face strict bag rules and resale pressure.
On Tuesday, freelance writer Bethany Williams noted that her five-month-old infant must purchase a ticket to attend the upcoming Olivia Dean concert at Afterpay Arena, despite being breastfed.
Afterpay Arena officials confirmed that all patrons, regardless of age, must hold a valid ticket for entry, requiring infants to have their own seat.
Williams, who is breastfeeding, received clarification that while a pram is allowed in the building, it must be stored in the cloakroom, and a small nappy bag is permitted.
Reflecting on the policy, Williams questioned whether it aligns with Dean's 2025 campaign, when the artist pressured Ticketmaster into capping resale prices and issuing refunds to fans.
Dean's Australian tour continues through October with sold-out shows in Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane. Fans without a Ticketek account must register by August 31 to secure tickets.
