The Mulhousian company André Koechlin & Compagnie (AKC), which will become the Alsatian Society of Mechanical Constructions (SACM), was founded in 1826. On the occasion of the bicentenary of this birth, Patrick Perrot, retired from SACM and researcher associated with Cresat, evokes for us in his main lines the history of this former flagship of the Alsatian industry.
