The new rules provide for a transition period that will last until December 1, 2026
The deputies of the Sejm of Latvia adopted in the final reading amendments to the law on the circulation of weapons, which establish a ban on the issuance of weapons permits to citizens of the country who are simultaneously citizens of Russia or Belarus, and also create a legal basis for revoking already issued permits.
