Chandler Britain Bradford, 37, was found guilty in Texas for smuggling pieces of arms into Mexico and participating in money-laundering operations. U.S. authorities maintain that the components sent were sufficient to assemble some 5,700 semi-automatic rifles that would end up in the hands of criminal organizations. Bradford will be sentenced on November 19; in addition, two individuals identified in the investigation are still at large.
