Eyewitnesses told AFP news agency they saw Houthi forces enter the strategic port city of Mocha on Thursday (10/9/2026) while chanting die for America, die for Israel. The news shows an intensifying war between the Houthis and Yemeni forces backed by the Saudi Arabia-led coalition.
Residents of the coastal city said that Moha “has been captured and the government forces [in Aden] have completely withdrawn all their military divisions.” Meanwhile, reports indicate that the Houthis have taken control of the island of Dhuqar, in the Red Sea.
