Worcestershire residents asked to shape digital inclusion support
The survey asks residents about access, skills and online safety to identify where extra support is needed, officials said.
Worcestershire County Council and the Worcestershire Digital Inclusion Partnership launched the Digital Inclusion Survey, inviting all residents aged 18 and over to share their experiences with digital technology.
The Digital Inclusion Survey collects insights on technology experiences, covering internet access, broadband affordability, digital skills, online safety, and barriers to using public services.
Councillor Josh Robinson, cabinet member for Environment and Communities, said: "Digital technology can open up opportunities, improve access to services and help people stay connected." Officials aim to shape future support using resident voices.
Residents can complete the survey online at DigitalSurvey until October 31, with Paper copies available from October 9 at various locations; Staff can help signpost the nearest venue.
The project acknowledges that Older people and low-income households face higher risk of digital exclusion. Data gathered will identify where extra support is needed to help residents utilize Digital tools effectively.
