West Virginia Hospital to Pay $40M to Settle Lawsuit Connected to Unnecessary Surgeries

The lawsuit was filed in April 2025 against CAMC and doctors Robert Shin and Samuel Rossi alleging unnecessary hernia repair procedures were taking place during bariatric surgeries.
