Victoria Monét’s ‘Frequency of Love’ Aims to Strike the Optimal Sonic Vibration
The 22-track project features Bruno Mars and SZA and includes her first new studio album since 2023's Grammy-winning Jaguar II.
On Friday, Grammy-winning singer Victoria Monét releases 'Frequency of Love,' a 22-track studio project following her 2023 'Jaguar II.' The album features collaborations with Bruno Mars, SZA, and Bryson Tiller.
Executive produced by Camper, the album channels Michael Jackson's artistic growth between 'Off the Wall' and 'Thriller.' Monét explores themes from love for her daughter to global concerns using classic 90s R&B interpolations.
Following her recent stint as a special guest on the European stretch of Bruno Mars' 'The Romantic' tour, Monét, 37, is preparing for her own tour visiting 27 North American cities starting in late October.
Despite a three-year break, Monét dismisses 'comeback' labels, prioritizing gratitude over external pressure. Beyond music, she recently graduated from the Institute of Culinary Education as its top student.
The artist plans to develop scripted TV and film projects, including a comedy, while seeking collaborations with 'unexpected' artists. Monét emphasizes moving with intention throughout her career.
