Caracas. Venezuela’s President-in-Charge, Delcy Rodríguez, received yesterday her counterpart from Paraguay, Santiago Peña, after 20 months of rupture between the two countries.
Both Governments review energy cooperation, trade exchange and consular services during a meeting focused on the progressive restoration of bilateral dialogue mechanisms.
The Venezuelan president-in-charge received the Paraguayan president, an ally of the United States, with the aim of paving the way for the restoration of diplomatic ties after the rupture of relations in January 2025.
