Two men jailed for violent disorder at anti-migrant protests outside asylum seeker hotel
The men were among 11 convicted, and police said the disorder left the town scared, disrupted daily life and forced businesses to close early.

- Drone and bodyworn footage showed Glover shouting at officers and impeding police carriers, while Land repeatedly damaged police vehicles throughout the evening.
- Eleven men total have been convicted for the disorder, with 10 already sentenced to more than 17 years in prison combined; one remains due for sentencing on November 10.
- Chief Inspector Terry Fisher, Epping Forest and Brentwood district commander, said the community was left "scared and anxious," with businesses forced to close early and the town's reputation affected.
