Turn Lane Changes on Bend's Greenwood Ave

The project will keep one lane open each way and add space for eastbound left turns before Labor Day weekend, officials said.

To help improve traffic flow, the City of Bend plans to remove a turn lane median on Greenwood Avenue between NE First and NE Second streets and extend the length of the eastbound, left-turn lane at NE Third Street. This will create more space for eastbound vehicles to queue in the left-turn lane before turning north.
