To help improve traffic flow, the City of Bend plans to remove a turn lane median on Greenwood Avenue between NE First and NE Second streets and extend the length of the eastbound, left-turn lane at NE Third Street. This will create more space for eastbound vehicles to queue in the left-turn lane before turning north.
