Northern Vietnam Prepares for Cooler Temperatures as Heavy Rain Continues in Ho Chi Minh City
A cold front is sweeping into northern Vietnam, bringing widespread rainfall and cooler temperatures starting Sunday night. Meanwhile, the southern region, including Ho Chi Minh City, is expected to experience another bout of heavy rain through October 10.
Ho Chi Minh City entered a new period of rain from October 4th, lasting until around October 10th, with some areas experiencing very heavy rainfall. The total rainfall over 6 days could exceed 250mm.
From now until October 10th, the weather in Southern Vietnam and Ho Chi Minh City will again experience heavy rain, concentrated in the late afternoon and evening, although there may be rain in the morning on some days.
A new tropical convergence zone has appeared over the southern region, bringing moderate to heavy rain to the area from today until the end of next week.
