Violent thunderstorms are to be feared on a part of France this weekend. Here are some tips to protect your electrical devices.

Three departments in the south-east are placed in orange vigilance for thunderstorms, which could be particularly violent. On Wednesday, hail fell on the Pyrénées-Orientales.
Ardèche, Drôme, Isère, Alpes-Maritimes and Var were placed in orange vigilance at the storms on Thursday. Heavy rainfall is expected.
Ardèche, Drôme and Isère will be on alert from 3 p.m. in front of the expected heavy rains and gusts of wind. Corsica will be concerned Friday.
