41,000 Baby Jumpers and Swings Recalled Due to Risk of Injury, Strangulation
Federal regulators cited 52 incident reports and 32 injuries, including head bumps and a bloody nose, in the Taleco Gear recall.
On Wednesday, the Consumer Product Safety Commission announced a recall of 41,100 Taleco Gear Baby Jumpers and Baby Swings due to fall and strangulation hazards affecting infants.
Officials warned that hanging restraint straps and seat openings create strangulation risks, while units can become unstable during use and crash, posing serious injury or death hazards.
Impacted models include Jumper-01 and Baby JumperSwing-1, sold online at Amazon, Walmart, and TalecoGear from April 2021 through July 2026 in multiple colors.
Taleco Gear asks customers to stop using items immediately and destroy the products, then submit photos of destroyed units to receive a full refund.
The Consumer Product Safety Commission recall covers various 2-in-1 units and standalone jumpers or swings; consumers should verify their specific model against the official notice.
