No one wanted to impose a curfew to combat the coronavirus pandemic, but due to a lack of alternatives, it was implemented anyway. This was stated by then-Minister Kajsa Ollongren (Interior, D66) on Wednesday morning during her questioning by the parliamentary committee on coronavirus inquiry. Initially, she opposed the measure, but gradually became convinced of its merits.
