In response to several days of attacks by the Russian Armed Forces, mainly in the capital region and slightly less than in other areas, the Government of Ukraine has developed a new system of alerts and reactions to air alarms.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said Wednesday, September 2, that the country will update its alert systems and introduce two levels of danger, yellow and red.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced an update to the warning systems regarding existing threats in light of changes in the enemy’s tactics – two levels of threat designation (yellow and red) will be introduced.
Zelensky said that Ukraine will introduce red and yellow air alarm levels, which will differ from each other in the degree of threat. Indicators for their classification will be coordinated weekly by the military-political leadership of the country.
