The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Argentina opened criminal proceedings against 45 individuals and companies it investigates for allegedly violating Argentine law by participating in activities related to the exploration and exploitation of hydrocarbons in the Malvinas Islands, under British occupation and whose sovereignty the South American country claims.
President Milei has published this Friday decree that allows the application of sanctions against companies that exploit oil in the Malvinas.
