The Constitutional Court of Montenegro decided today that vaccination is a condition for children to stay in kindergarten.
"Immunization is one of the greatest achievements of modern medicine and a civilizational standard of public health protection," the announcement states
The Constitutional Court judged that protecting the health of children and the population is a legitimate goal for which the legislator can prescribe mandatory vaccination. This measure protects the child receiving the vaccine, but also other persons who may be exposed to infectious diseases, especially children who cannot be vaccinated for medical reasons.
