Airports in Kraków and Katowice suspended operations for several minutes after radio contact with one of the small civilian aircraft was lost.
"The flight was suspended due to security concerns," Lieutenant Colonel Jacek Goryszewski, spokesman for the Polish Armed Forces Operational Command, explained in an interview with Onet. He added that communication with one of the aircraft was lost. As a result, the Kraków-Balice and Katowice-Pyrzowice airports were closed, although they are now operating normally.
