Disability in France: Emmanuel Macron Announces a New Strategy that Leaves Associations "Frustrated"
In France, the 7th National Disability Conference, whose objective is to set the course for public policy in this area, took place on Friday, September 4th in Bobigny, near Paris. French President Emmanuel Macron announced the launch "by the end of the year" of a new national strategy for neurodevelopmental disorders (NDDs), including autism. Emmanuel Macron called this Friday to "open a new stage in a fully accessible society" on the occasion of the National Conference on Disability (CNH), organized at the Prisme de Bobigny (Seine-Saint-Denis).
The road to employment for people with disabilities is progressing slowly, thanks to the accompanying measures implemented under Emmanuel Macron's presidency, but much remains to be done.
