In line with the Central Bank's plan to issue up to $2 billion in foreign currency notes, the currency sales process began this morning, Saturday, October 11, and in the first phase, $1 billion will be issued through selected bank branches and bank exchange offices across the country.
According to the Central Bank's new foreign exchange program, Mellat, Melli, Tejarat, Saderat, and Saman banks will offer the foreign exchange required by applicants within the framework of the new quota starting today. Accordingly, any person over the age of 18 can purchase up to $10,000 with their national ID.
Starting this morning, Saturday, October 11, the sale of foreign currency to any national code over the age of 18 began with the announcement of the Central Bank's new foreign exchange program.
