András Simor said in the spring that one of the vice presidents of the MNB had put pressure on Erste Bank to remove him from the supervisory board of the Vienna-based Erste Group.
The former central bank governor filed a complaint with the prosecutor's office.
György Matolcsy has previously stated that the accusations against him in the Erste case are "false tales", and now he has also stated in writing that he does not accept the accusation. He reminded that according to the law, no one can be considered guilty until their criminal liability has been established by a final court decision.
He does not accept his suspicions in the Erste case and has filed a complaint with the prosecutor's office, but is not commenting on the case.
