Spain will plant a total of 3.5 million trees to contribute to the European objective of planting 3 billion additional trees, according to a first estimate. This is one of the measures included in the draft National Plan for the Restoration of Nature, as reported this Monday by the Ministry for the Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge (MITECO).
