While there is still a little more than three weeks of summer holidays left, staff at the United Way Bruce Grey are already in the back-to-school rush due to their annual Backpack Program.

South Bruce OPP collecting backpack donations for students in need

If you have donations for the United Way Bruce Grey backpack program, you can now drop them off at two OPP detachments in Walkerton and Kincardine.South Bruce OPP will accept donations every weekday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. until August 28.The annual program provides new backpacks filled with grade-appropriate school supplies to students from Kindergarten through Grade 12 throughout Grey and Bruce counties at no cost to families in need.
