- Foreign Institutional Investors turned sellers on Monday, offloading Rs 576.20 crore, while Domestic Institutional Investors remained buyers, purchasing Rs 2,797.27 crore. Dr VK Vijayakumar, Chief Investment Strategist at Geojit Investments Limited, noted renewed focus on secondary markets as NSE IPO refunds add liquidity.
- Across Asia, regional markets showed broad strength with South Korea's Kospi rising 1.90 per cent, Hong Kong's Hang Seng gaining 0.36 per cent, and Shanghai's SSE Composite adding 0.22 per cent, while Japanese bourses remained closed for Silver Week.
