Seagull stuck in car for miles after being hit

A seagull was hit and remained stuck in a car's front grille while the vehicle traveled several miles on the A1 motorway in County Durham.
The bird dangled from the front bumper until the driver noticed it after arriving at Darlington train station, about eight miles from the impact site.
Rescuers found the seagull surprisingly uninjured despite being trapped for a long distance and noted only some soreness.
