The University Conference (uniko) calls on the government "to assume its responsibility for the universities". By 31 October, the university budget for 2028 to 2030 must be fixed, most recently cuts were in the discussion. Uniko President Brigitte Hütter showed in a message "very concerned about the nonchalance up to the negligence with which the technological competitiveness of the country and the education of the next generations are treated".
