New works by directors Mikel Leigh, Pablo Larrain, Jesse Eisenberg and Fred Cavaye will compete for the Golden Shell, among others. The Pearls section will feature sixteen works, including the film Fjord, which won the top prize at Cannes, by Cristian Mungiu, and La bola negra, about Federico García Lorca, by Javier Ambrossi and Javier Calvo. The Basque cinema presentation will take place on August 28. Ticket sales will start on September 13.
