Russian drone attack kills three children and a woman in Kyiv region, Kyiv regional authorities say

On Friday, Russian forces struck the Fastiv district in Ukraine's Kyiv region, killing a woman and three children. Kyiv Regional Military Administration Tymur Tkachenko confirmed the residential attack destroyed homes, calling it an "irreparable tragedy."
The Kyiv region endured over a day of hostile attacks, with 31 sites damaged across five districts. Russia has repeatedly targeted the capital and surrounding areas with drones in recent weeks.
Five family members suffered acoustic trauma, burns, and shrapnel wounds, the State Emergency Service reported. Rescuers extinguished the residential fire and cleared debris at the impact zone.
Regional authorities confirmed the death toll reached four on Sunday, including a child who died in the hospital after a separate drone strike in the Vyshhorod district.
