Several right-wing parties are skeptical about the manner in which the decision to revoke the license of Ongehoord Nederland (ON!) was made. They raised this point on Thursday during a parliamentary debate on public broadcasting. This month, Minister of Culture Rianne Letschert (D66) announced that she intends to revoke the license, and that proposed decision is currently before the broadcaster.
Good old Martin Bosma is not exactly the biggest fan of Ongehoord Nederland, but he has far fewer warm words to say about D66 and the NPO....
PVV MP Martin Bosma launched a fierce attack on both Ongehoord Nederland and D66 during a committee debate on national public broadcasting. He made it clear that he has little regard for the broadcaster, but at the same time fiercely opposed the way in which it threatens to disappear from the system. "For the sake of judgment, I am disgusted by Ongehoord Nederland. I couldn't care less. They have made a mess of it," said Bosma.
