- Destruction from the blaze reached about 150 structures, with 110 in Faulder and Meadow Valley and 40 in the District, after a rapid evacuation forced residents to flee the "monster" wildfire.
- Residents returning face "a lot of dust and ash," though the Sunflower Ukrainian Cafe owned by Iuliia Borysenko has reopened with help from a West Kelowna church group.
- Crews are assessing burned hydro poles and "danger trees," Regional District official Erick Thompson said, while the Wildfire Service reported stolen equipment and urged residents to report suspicious activity to the RCMP.
- Amid ongoing drought conditions, the Wildfire Service warns smouldering smoke is expected over coming weeks, a phenomenon officials say "is common following large wildfires and is typically not a concern.
