Retired Police Officers Tell NYC Mayor Mamdani and Governor Hochul to Stay Away from 25th Anniversary Commemoration of 9/11 Terrorist Attacks
The 600-member Port Authority Retired Police Association has sent a letter to Mayor Zohran Mamdani and Governor Kathy Hochul telling them to stay away from the 25th anniversary commemoration of the 9/11 terrorist attacks because of their political stances and favoritism towards Islam. They have not earned the honor to stand with the families of the fallen.
Last month, victims' relatives launched a petition asking the organizers not to involve the mayor in the 25th anniversary ceremonies.
