A supercell hit Slovakia early Thursday evening. The strong storm caused damage mainly in Bratislava, where it snapped trees, and a collapsed roof in Podunajské Biskupice caused several minor injuries. Late in the evening, lightning also struck the roof of an apartment building in Zvolen, setting it on fire.
