- Following a "horrible" argument Thursday between Parker and his girlfriend Stella Kimsey, Parker confessed to his mother that he had planned the attack, Povolny said.
- Investigators believe Parker killed Stella Kimsey first, then ambushed Rowan Kimsey, Linsey Haraldsen, Mary Kimsey, and Alvin Chu as they arrived at the property to check on one another.
- After setting fires at the crime scene, Parker fled to Enumclaw, Washington, where authorities discovered him dead Sunday afternoon in a vehicle from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.
- Washington County officials are expanding lethality assessment tools and launching new outreach programs to support domestic violence survivors, with 70% of crisis hotline callers needing safe housing.
