A majority of the Provincial States (37-14) chose to lay that down in the new environmental regulation. Seven of the twelve members of the BBB voted against the policy of its own deputy Ans Mol.
The coalition in the province of Gelderland is faltering because the BBB does not fully support a plan for nitrogen zones around nature reserves. The CDA, VVD, ChristenUnie, and SGP are wondering whether they can continue with their coalition partner.
