A woman lost her baby at Ometepec General Hospital, where there were no specialists available. CNDH noted obstetric violence and asked to repair the damage.
According to doctors, the term "obstetric violence" has no scientific validation. The expression was replaced by "inadequate, disrespectful or non-consensual practices by women".
