Detective Tells Court What She Found in 'Beau Lamarre-Condon's Toyota'
Jurors saw blood-stained bedding, clothing and bone fragments as prosecutors outlined how investigators linked the alleged killings to two crime scenes.
Former police officer Beau Lamarre-Condon's trial for the 2024 murders of television presenter Jesse Baird and flight attendant Luke Davies entered its second week in the NSW Supreme Court, with jurors examining forensic crime scene photographs.
Prosecutors allege Lamarre-Condon murdered the pair after developing an "obsessive and jealous infatuation" with Baird, while his defense team argues the deaths occurred during separate violent struggles where he acted in self-defense.
Photographs of blood-stained items recovered from a skip bin at the Cronulla Bowls Club were shown to the jury on Wednesday, alongside images of luminol-treated surfaces throughout the Paddington terrace.
Senior Sergeant Bronwyn Lansley testified that investigators found a bullet hole in a bedroom door concealed by a hook, while the court reviewed receipts for hardware supplies purchased to clean the home.
The trial, overseen by Justice Natalie Adams, is expected to continue for three months as the court examines evidence regarding the events of February 19, 2024.
