Nigel Farage says police ‘made some mistakes’ in firebomb investigation
Counter-terror police have reopened a year-old probe into an alleged firebomb attack at Nigel Farage's home following concerns over police conduct and inquiries linked to Ann Widdecombe's death.
Nigel Farage said counter-terrorism officers made errors in investigating a firebomb incident at his home in April 2025, involving a 'lit incendiary device' posted through his letterbox.
Counter-Terrorism units admitted mistakes in handling the case and referred themselves to the Independent Office of Police Conduct .
Farage claimed he and his case were treated differently compared to others before the police's self-referral to the IOPC.
He also suggested that police are afraid of what the truth might reveal regarding the investigation.
