- Agricultural subsidies support farmers with 33% or more crop damage: Rs 8,500 per hectare for non-irrigated land, Rs 17,000 for irrigated land, and Rs 22,500 for 12-month crops. Artisans receive Rs 5,000 for equipment replacement.
- Authorities evacuated more than 3.70 lakh people to 550 relief camps. The government deployed 45 Odisha Disaster Rapid Action Force teams, 8 National Disaster Response Force teams, and 65 Fire Services teams for rescue operations.
- The government will release additional funds after detailed damage assessments, while planning long-term infrastructure improvements including permanent embankments and improved drainage systems. Health authorities remain on high alert to prevent waterborne diseases.
