The government finally gave the ‘yes’ to postpone the closure of the Almaraz nuclear power plant and postpone it until June 2030. It did so quickly, without exhausting the deadlines at its disposal. And it did so by trying to make as little noise as possible, with the publication in the BOE on a Friday in the middle of August of the ministerial order confirming the authorization to the Cáceres plant to continue functioning.
