Sussex Police and Crime Commissioner Katy Bourne has thanked emergency services, council teams and volunteers for their ‘tireless work throughout the night’ following a train derailment near Lewes.

No-fly zone enforced while teams work to determine cause of train derailment

The temporary airspace restriction covers a 1.5 nautical mile radius around Lewes, and extends up to 3,000 feet above mean sea level.
