Nissan Puts a Price Tag on the All-New 2027 Rogue Hybrid With E-POWER Technology
The series hybrid adds all-wheel drive and Nissan says it will help the Rogue compete with Toyota and Honda in the U.S. small-crossover market.
- On Monday, Nissan officially revealed the 2027 Rogue Hybrid with a new "e-Power" series hybrid powertrain, standard all-wheel drive, an estimated 40 mpg fuel economy, and a $37,065 starting price.
- Unlike traditional parallel hybrids, this series hybrid system uses a 1.5-liter engine solely as a generator to charge a 1.67-kWh battery. The engine never powers the wheels, delivering an EV-like driving experience.
- Every Rogue Hybrid includes updated ProPilot driver-assistance technology with five LATCH anchors for child seats. The interior features twin 12.3-inch screens or optional 14.3-inch units, with rear doors opening nearly 90 degrees.
- Nissan Americas chairman Christian Meunier plans to add three production shifts to maximize U.S. capacity and support the launch. The company targets producing 80% of vehicles sold domestically by 2030 as part of its turnaround strategy.
- The Rogue Hybrid arrives this fall competing against the Toyota RAV4 and Honda CR-V in the compact segment. The SR trim with Technology package launches first, with additional trims rolling out in early 2027.
