- On Wednesday, Nissan AMIEO Chairperson Massimiliano Messina unveiled the all-electric Nissan Pixo, reviving the budget nameplate after its 2013 discontinuation to expand the automaker's presence in Europe's growing electric A-segment market.
- Developed through a partnership with Renault, the Pixo shares the RG-EV Small platform and will be manufactured at Renault's Novo Mesto, Slovenia facility alongside the Renault Twingo E-Tech.
- The electric drivetrain delivers 80 hp with a range of up to 161 miles per charge; a 50 kW DC fast charger replenishes the battery from 15% to 80% in 28 minutes.
- Inside, the vehicle features a 10-inch infotainment touchscreen and Google Gemini for "intuitive" navigation, marking the first time the AI appears in the A-segment from launch.
- Nissan expects the Pixo to start under $25,000, with market-specific pricing announced in December 2026 and European customer deliveries scheduled to begin early next year.
