NFL teams have new or revamped stadiums planned for every year between now and 2031
Nine NFL teams are planning new or renovated venues, with owners and taxpayers covering nearly $20 billion and at least one project opening each season through 2031.
NFL teams will unveil at least one new or revamped venue in each of the next five seasons, with construction already underway for Tennessee, Jacksonville, and Cleveland.
Nine franchises are in various stages of builds or renovations costing close to $20 billion, aiming to attract future Super Bowls, the 2031 Women's World Cup, and other premier events.
During the annual "Blue and Red Scrimmage" on Aug. 8, Buffalo Bills fans viewed the new Highmark Stadium, a $2.1 billion project built across from the team's former home.
While some projects utilize a 60/40 public-private split, legal challenges persist; the state of Ohio's $600 million commitment for the Browns remains on hold due to a class-action lawsuit.
To ensure venues remain viable through at least 2036, at least six of the nine upcoming remodels include dome or shade structures while prioritizing luxury suites and club lounges.
