New customers help keep an old store going - The Mountain Eagle

OFF-ROAD BUSINESS — Turner’s Grocery, Deli & Gas in Big Laurel has survived while most of the small country stores that once served eastern Kentucky’s mountain communities have disappeared. One reason is a new source of business: riders visiting the area’s of-road trails.
